4 boxes Linear Feet (Since 1939, the Indiana Garden Club has served the Indiana community as a service and social organization devoted to gardening, horticulture, and flower arranging. They meet on the third Monday of every month. The club is part of District VI of the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania, and the Central Atlantic Region of the National Garden Club Federation. The Indiana Garden Club strives to provide members with creative activities and education through monthly programs and outings that offer the opportunity to develop friendships through their work in the community. The Indiana Garden Club is responsible for the planting and maintenance of four civic sites throughout the community in Indiana, Pennsylvania – South 7th Street garden, North 7th Street garden, East Pike Intersection, and the Eagle’s Nest located at the White Township Recreation Complex. They plant and maintain part of the Indiana Community Garden, providing herbs and edibles to share with the public. The Indiana Garden Club sponsors one of the largest events in Indiana County known as May Mart, it provides the funds for the annual Indiana Garden Club working budget and enables the club to support numerous gardening and horticultural groups and other worthwhile community projects, including the awarding of scholarships.
