1 box Linear Feet (This collection includes information and memorabilia collected by Dr. Patrick Mikesell who graduated from the Keith Laboratory School in 1956 and from Indiana State College (IUP) with a BSED in 1962. In 1975, Dr. Mikesell earned his doctorate from Pennsylvania State University. He was a Biology Professor at the Commonwealth of Virginia, Radford University. This collection includes memorabilia, scrapbooks, and documents that have been collected by Dr. Patrick (Pat) Mikesell. This memorabilia includes documents about the Indiana State Normal School (ISNS, later became IUP) and the Training School – his mother Anna Maria Hauxhurst, graduated with Jimmy Stewart from the Training School (later known as the Keith Laboratory School) on May 29, 1923 (please see the photograph below). Dr. Mikesell also attended the Keith Laboratory School (1954-1956) before going to Indiana State College (IUP).
