1 box Linear Feet (Ella Jaquish Seanor (June 13, 1895-October 20, 1985) was the daughter of George Henry Jaquish (1849-1922) and his wife Rosae Liona Naugle Jaquish (August 16, 1865-August 11, 1962) see Manuscript Group 45. Her father was an employee of Clearfield Bituminous Coal Corporation (CBC). George Henry Jaquish was transferred by the CBC to Clymer in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, on July 5, 1905, where he became the company superintendent. He bought 25 acres from the John Widdowson farm, and his family moved to Clymer in 1906. Ella Jaquish graduated from Indiana State Normal School in 1915, and she married Beryl L. Seanor. Her mother later moved to Indiana, Pennsylvania, and lived with them until her death in 1962. Ella Jaquish Seanor and her mother Rosae Liona Naugle Jaquish were active members of Graystone Presbyterian Church in Indiana, where Ella Jaquish Seanor began the first librarian of the church. This collection contains class notebooks written by Ella Jaquish while she was a student at Indiana State Normal School (ISNS) in 1913-1915. The collection also contains a photograph album that belonged to Ella Jaquish Seanor. This collection and the contents of Manuscript Group 45 were donated by Ella Jaquish Seanor on June 16, 1972.
