3 boxes Linear Feet (In 1970, Boy Scout Troop 1011 (Troop 11) was charted by Indiana University of Pennsylvania. It was organized to promote the goals and ideals of the Boy Scouts of America for the boys of the Indiana area and the students of IUP. In its more than forty-year history, Troop 11 has produced more than 50 Eagle Scouts. Although association with IUP is not required for membership in the troop, BSA Troop 1011 is presently sponsored by the Foundation for IUP. The collection contains photograph albums and scrapbooks with newspaper clippings, photographs, newsletters, and correspondence about the activities conducted by Boy Scout Troop 1011 since 1970. The collection is divided into series: Series I includes Troop documents, Series II is newspaper articles, Series III is photographs, and Series IV is scrapbooks.
