2 boxes Linear Feet (Dr. Michael M. Williamson joined the English Department faculty at IUP in 1983. One of Dr. Williamson’s hobbies is World War I reenactment, and this collection reflects his collection of original World War I equipment and reproduction materials including documents, a helmet, mess kit, canvas, and medic field surgical equipment. Many of these artifacts date from 1917-1918. Dr. Williamson also donated a complete set of The Medical Department of the United States in the World War prepared by the U.S. Surgeon-General’s Office, U.S. Government Printing Office, 1921-1929. 15 Volumes, Call Number: UH224 1917-19 .A3)
