He has always been interested in the contribution of different civilizations in the development of mathematics. The books, artifacts, and items in this collection were donated by Dr. Maher Shawer. The collection includes replicas of an Egyptian statue, a map of the known world, and the Rosetta Stone. The collection also reflect Muslim and Egyptian culture and descriptive research materials donated by Dr. Shawer.)
